The use of very slim profiles increases the open area and allows filtering of higher volumes of liquid compared to other filtering elements.

The shape of these candles makes then suitable for a range of applications, such as micro-filtering or beer clarification (food sector) or in self-cleaning filters, cartridge filters and nozzles (petrochemical sector).
