A
This is a wire mesh made of groups of ropes in the warp and round wires in the weft. Particularly flexible and resistant, it allows obtaining a greater or lesser degree of transparency according to the diameter of the wires used and the distance between them. Within the range of ARCHI-NET products, the type A meshes are those which are best suited to be used for outdoor architecture.
Available in stainless, coloured steel, COR-TEN.
B
This is a wire mesh made of single ropes in the warp and pre-crimped round wires in the weft. Flexible and durable, it has excellent reflecting capacities and, when made using widely spaced wires, it becomes transparent and luminous. It is suitable both for outdoor and indoor architectural projects.
Available in stainless steel, coloured steel.
C
Metal mesh obtained from wire spirals or flat bars linked by pre-crimped connecting rods. The ends of the panels can be welded or knuckled (bent wires). Thanks to its structure, this metal mesh is very flexible and does not require tensioning. It is indicated for interior design: false ceilings, partitioning of interior spaces and curtains.
Available in stainless steel, coloured steel, carbon steel.
D
Metal mesh obtained from metal wire spirals linked together. The ends of the panels can be welded or knuckled (bent wires). Thanks to its very flexible structure, it does not require tensioning. It is indicated for interior design: false ceilings, partitioning of interior spaces.
Available in stainless steel, coloured steel, galvanized steel, brass.
E
This is a wire mesh made with groups of several copper (or steel) wires both in the warp and in the weft. It is a very compact, low transparency mesh, but at the same time flexible and soft. This wire mesh is ideal for interior design: partitioning of interior spaces, curtains and furnishings.
Available in stainless steel, copper.
F
Wire mesh obtained by weaving straight wires in the warp and pre-crimped and laminated wires in the weft.
The wire mesh is heavy, rigid and has a high mechanical strength. Its flatness also allows for good light reflection. It is versatile outdoors, especially for the construction of protective elements: gates, doorways and safety balustrading.
Available in carbon steel, COR-TEN.
G
This is a wire mesh obtained by weaving straight wires in the warp and pre-crimped wires in the weft. Particularly resistant, heavy and rigid, it has a very compact surface with low transparency. This wire mesh is suitable for external protection elements: gates, doorways and safety balustrading.
Available in stainless steel, COR-TEN, coloured steel.
H
Wire mesh obtained by weaving wire straps both in the warp and in the weft. Although thin, it has a high mechanical strength and is ideal for interior and exterior design. Outdoors, it is particularly suitable for facade coverings and safety balustrading.
Available in stainless steel, copper, brass.
I
Crimped wire mesh made from round section wires both in the warp and in the weft. The latter are pre-crimped. By varying the mesh opening between the wires it is possible to obtain more or less heavy cloths whilst still maintaining a high transparency. The wire mesh is used outdoors for architectural façade coverings and safety balustrading.
Available in steel, stainless steel, COR-TEN.
J
Wire mesh made from interwoven round section wires both in the warp and in the weft. It is normally made with small diameter wires so as to produce a thin, light mesh, which makes it the recommended solution for interior design and curtains production.
Available in stainless steel, coloured steel, bronze, brass, copper.
K
Metal mesh made from alternating several right and left-hand wire spirals connected together to form an almost closed mesh with a heavy consistency. Each spiral is crossed by one or more connecting rods, up to a maximum of 5. This metal mesh presents a particular pattern and has good flexibility in a single direction. It can be used in interior design, as a coating for decorative objects or as a mobile wall.
Available in stainless steel, coloured steel, bronze, COR-TEN, brass, copper.
L
Wire mesh obtained from weaving thin round section wires in the weft and groups of ropes in bands in the warp. The thin diameters of these wires and ropes make this mesh particularly suited to creating light and easily foldable veils. It is fit for separating internal spaces.
Available in stainless steel, copper.
R
Wire mesh obtained by a special kind of weaving in which the weft wires, normally of smaller diameter than the warp ones, are woven so that they are fully joined together. There is no mesh opening, but only a transversal passage where the weft wires alternate. These features give the product a high degree of masking. It is suitable for use in interior design and for partitioning.
Available in stainless steel, brass, copper.
V
Metal grille made from stainless steel triangular section wires arranged in parallel and welded to support bars or rods. The metal grille has considerable mechanical strength and a highly reflective flat surface on one side. It is suitable for outdoor use as a sunscreen and inside as a ventilation grille.
Available in stainless steel.
These are products that, thanks to Costacurta’s experience and processing, offer numerous strengths:
Resistance: upon raw material reception, samples of the wires and ropes are analysed in the laboratory by means of specific tests in order to verify their mechanical characteristics.
Colour homogeneity: the raw material comes from the same casting in order to guarantee homogenous colours and shades.
Geometry: the respect of geometric characteristics (distance, diameter, section) guarantees the structural uniformity of the final product.
Flatness: specific production techniques such as pre-straightening wire in weft or flattening contribute to achieving excellent levels of flatness in our products.
Accurate welding: where present, welding is performed by qualified welders and verified through appropriate tests.
Cleaning: ultrasonic washing facilities cleanse the product to ensure the best level of cleanliness. For a superior polish, electro-polishing may be carried out on request.
Suitable packaging: this ensures product integrity for long periods of time both during transport and on-site handling.

Applications
Gates and doorways
ARCHI-NET is suitable for constructing gates and doorways. Strength and lightness characterise this type of application.
Facades
When used as facade covering, ARCHI-NET redefines the design of the building. Applying ARCHI-NET to historical buildings introduces a modern element, whilst preserving the original architectural style. For contemporary and newly developed projects, ARCHI-NET wire meshes bring elements of lightness, flexibility and brightness.
Sunscreens
Some types of ARCHI-NET wire meshes are ideal to use as sunscreens.
The framed wire mesh becomes ARCHI-SCREEN, a fixed or mobile sunscreen, with varying degrees of transparency according to the selected wire mesh.
The ARCHI-SCREEN sunscreen system is designed to reduce solar radiation, thereby improving the thermal comfort inside the building.
The fixed panels provide constant shielding. The mobile panels may be opened and oriented according to the sun exposure.
Masking
With ARCHI-NET it is possible to hide elements with low aesthetic and architectural value such as plants, utility rooms, security doors and secondary access zones.
Car Parks
ARCHI-NET particularly lends itself to covering the exterior facades of car parks thanks to its ability to combine three different design requirements:
BEAUTY Raises the aesthetics of the building by enhancing its architectural value.
BRIGHTNESS Thanks to its transparency, it guarantees the light needed inside multi-storey car parks.
VENTILATION Allows for the necessary air exchange.
Pedestrian Bridges
When applied to pedestrian bridges, ARCHI-NET becomes a protective element with a contemporary design.
Lighting
The projection of lights onto wire meshes can generate multiple chromatic effects.
Protection
ARCHI-NET wire meshes are suitable for protecting openings without obstructing views and perspectives.
Safety balustrading
ARCHI-NET wire meshes can be applied to safety balustrading whenever a suitable structure, apropriately sized by the designer, is available.
Stairs
In the design of stairs, ARCHI-NET can be used as safety balustrading, protection or simply as decorative element.
False ceiling
When used as false ceiling, ARCHI-NET allows to mask technical installations without reducing the nominal height of rooms. It also favours the passage of air conditioning and backlighting.
The wire mesh can be mounted on mobile panels, which can be opened and inspected.
Interior design
ARCHI-NET is open to unlimited interpretations.
The wire mesh can inspire architects and designers when creating objects and furnishings for home, offices, shops, exhibitions and fairs.
Space partitioning
For the separation of environments and internal spaces, wire meshes can be studied with different degrees of transparency.
