In certain operating conditions – in the presence of very oily or greasy foods or when it is necessary to minimise the movement of the product on the belt – a positive drive system may be the solution to ensure an optimum level of functioning. In such cases, with our VICO-Flex Drum Driven system, a spiral tower can be designed and built applying criteria that are similar to those used for a low-tension tower. Just a few changes are required to convert a low-tension system to a Drum Driven one and achieve continuous and smooth movement as well as lower tensions.
